Seven friends

Many of my paintings feature a local area called Saltram, this painting was inspired by numerous different photos which I took whilst in Saltram which  I chose to bring together to create this image.  The painting features my favourite tree in Saltram. The pond in the mid ground is the quarry on the other side of Saltram. The seven friends are the cheeky Robin, the big fat bumble bee, the snail, the squirrel, the dragonfly, the butterfly and Duke the hedgehog.  This painting is also the first time I have ever painted on claybord and I like the result.
