Roderick is a young squirrel who lives in the woods along the river Walkham at Bedford bridge in Horrabridge. He ran down a tree trunk dashed across the glade, then paused for a second with his paw raised when he noticed me, and then shot away like a rocket into the undergrowth to ascend a tree in the distance.
